We who have been purchased by the blood of the Lamb and bear His name have great privileges and responsibilities. Philippians 2:11 2 Corinthians 5:17 1 Corinthians 6:9-20 Matthew 5:16 2 Corinthians 5:20-21 John 15:8 Galatians 5:19-23 Romans 6:11-14 Colossians 3:5-16 ESV Our responsibility as the redeemed of God: 1. To bear His light, His gospel, and His name to the nations. 2. To represent Him as an ambassador of His Kingdom of Righteousness. 3. Daily putting to death what is earthly (fleshly, ie. the carnal appetite that exists in these mortal bodies). 4. Daily putting ON the new self that is renewed in knowledge (the word of Christ that we are to let dwell richly in us). The results: 1. Love and holiness flow out of our hearts and minds and mouths. 2. Peace dwells and rules our hearts. 3. Gratitude abides. 1 Peter 1:15-16
