What does the fact that some things have already happened mean, and cause us to do? 1. It means that God (as always) keeps His word. 2. It should cause us to trust every word and obey every charge concerning who we are to be; and what we are to do. II. Some things are currently happening. Matthew 24:4-14 NASB According to the World Meteorological Organization (WMO), the number of disasters over the last 50 years has increased fivefold. In the US, Eight out of the 10 years with the highest number of natural disasters occurred in the last decade. What does the fact that some things are still happening mean, and cause us to do? 1. It means that God isn't done and the end is still coming. 2. It should cause us to devote our lives more and more everyday to living for the Kingdom of God. III. Some things are yet to happen. Luke 21:24-36 NASB What does the fact that some things are yet to happen mean, and cause us to do? 1. It means that God coming soon. 2. It should cause us to live in spiritual alertness and intensity, with biblical fidelity, so we have the strength needed when difficult days come.
