from Simple Church

As we walk through part three of our series, "ACT: What the Modern Church Isn't Doing", Kenny explains the importance of not becoming complacent in the place God has led us to. Actively pursuing a life that follows Christ will require full reliance on the Holy Spirit, with that comes the awareness of our lives not belonging to us. Being poised and ready to go when God calls is what He wants from His people, which is the exact opposite of comfort and complacency.  In the same way Peter explained God wanted to restore the people who needed healing and for them to repent and follow Jesus, He wants the same for us today. In order to be fully restored and live in the hope He has promised through Jesus' sacrifice, we have to recognize we need healing in our hearts. We are broken and only Jesus can restore us through His salvation and our repentance.  In absolute surrender, there is undeniable freedom.   Acts 3:1-26 Kenny Nix, Pastor
