What stands out to you from hearing these verses?  Is God offering an invitation or a challenge to you through those words?  Take time to pray about it. 2. What names and titles are given to Jesus in the opening two chapters of Matthew, and what do they mean?  Which one is most prominent (and what does that mean)? 3. What does it mean that Jesus, the child, is "with us" in our helplessness?  List all the examples Pastor Anthony mentioned, and come up with your own! 4. How does Jesus surrender to our helplessness and to the Father's deliverance?  What fruit does that bear?  What hope can we find in it? 5. What prophecies does Jesus fulfill?  What hope does that give us? 6. What surrendering and submitting do you need to do this week so that your trust in God can be rekindled?
