Lord, who may abide in your tent?Whoever walks without fault;who does what is just, and speaks the truth from his heart.Whoever does not slander with his tongue.Who does no wrong to a neighbour, who casts no slur on a friend, who looks with scorn on the wicked, but honours those who fear the Lord.Who lends no money at interest, and accepts no bribes against the innocent.Such a one shall never be shaken.R/. Lord, who may abide in your tent? Second Reading: Colossians 1:24-28Brothers and sisters: Now I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake, and in my flesh, I complete what is lacking in Christ’s afflictions for the sake of his body, that is, the church, of which I became a minister according to the divine office which was given to me for you, to make the word of God fully known, the mystery hidden for ages and generations but now made manifest to his saints. To them, God chose to make known how great among the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. Him we proclaim, warning every person and teaching every person in all wisdom, that we may present everyone mature in Christ.Gospel: Luke 10:38-42At that time: Jesus entered a village; and a woman named Martha received him into her house. And she had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord’s feet and listened to his teaching. But Martha was distracted with much serving; and she went to him and said, “Lord, do you not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Tell her then to help me.” But the Lord answered her, “Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things; one thing is needful. Mary has chosen the good portion, which shall not be taken away from her.”
