Parramatta warms from 8.9°C to a top of 22°C as cloud clears, while Bondi is set to reach 19°C. On the roads, conditions are mostly incident-free, but the TCS Sydney Marathon is the major travel factor today, with more than 40,000 runners finishing at the Opera House. Expect major closures around Moore Park, Centennial Park, Surry Hills and the eastern CBD. Centennial Park roads and vehicle gates are closed all day, while Driver Avenue and Anzac Parade are closed from about 5am to 3:30pm. Public transport is strongly recommended. For train passengers, check before you travel due to ongoing trackwork. T1 Western and Richmond Line services are running to changed timetables, Inner West trains are not running, and T1/T9 services are making extra stops between Lidcombe and Central. Leppington services are running via Regents Park to Lidcombe, with changes needed for onward travel. There are also Blue Mountains Line changes, with buses replacing trains between Mount Victoria and Lithgow from 11am to 1:30pm. All Helensburgh and Otford trains leave from platform one until 1:40pm.
