Early sunset at 4:55 pm—plan those afternoon outings accordingly. Traffic Bass Hill: Crash on the Hume Highway at Hector St—two of three westbound lanes closed. Emergency services on scene. Merge carefully, allow extra time, or consider alternatives. Elsewhere, traffic is flowing well. Trains and Trackwork City Circle No trains around the Circle. Services operating Central–Wynyard only. For Circular Quay, St James or Museum, use light rail, local buses or walk. Metro No services Tallawong–Sydenham. Buses replace Metro between Tallawong–Chatswood only. For T1 North Shore Line connections, change at Hornsby, not Epping. T8 Airport & South Buses replace trains between Glenfield, Sydenham and Central via the Airport. From the Airport, change at Central (not Wolli Creek) for Eastern Suburbs, Illawarra or South Coast services. South Coast 2:30 am–12 noon: Buses replace trains between Bomaderry, Port Kembla and Wollongong. Trains continue Wollongong–Bondi Junction. The 2:39 am Kiama–Bondi Junction departs up to 20 minutes earlier Kiama–Coniston, then runs as normal from Wollongong. Inner West & Leppington Buses replace trains between Leppington and Glenfield.
