Sunny Sydney Saturday Update

from Wake Up Sydney

Wake Up Sydney brings you the Saturday 19 September 2026 update, with a bright and sunny start across the city and warm spring weather setting up a great day outdoors. Sydney CBD is heading for 28°C, Parramatta for 30°C, and Bondi for 27°C — ideal beach and park conditions, but don’t forget sunscreen, a hat and plenty of water. On the roads, drivers should watch for delays at Ingleside, where a two-vehicle crash on Mona Vale Road at Manor Road is affecting traffic in all directions. Emergency services and a tow truck are on scene, so slow down, take care and follow directions. For public transport, major weekend trackwork is impacting several lines. The T1 Western Line is running to a changed timetable and stopping pattern, the T1 North Shore Line has buses replacing trains between Hornsby and Milsons Point, and T9 Northern Line services are altered. Sydney Metro is running extra services between Tallawong and Sydenham to help passengers get around. Also, rear carriages on Tangara trains are closed for security measures, so passengers should use another carriage, check transport apps before travelling and allow extra time. Tune in to Wake Up Sydney for your essential weather, traffic and train updates across Sydney.
