from Talk Classic To Me · host Sara Greenfield

Are you ready for your close up? Do you think that you ARE BIG and it's the pictures that got small? Are you a 51 year old silent film star who couldn't effectively transition into the talkies and lives in a dilapidated mansion? Then Sunset Boulevard is the movie for you! This genre bending Billy Wilder noir/comedy/thriller is pure excellence in cinema and deserves your attention STAT. Gloria Swanson and William Holden star in this beautifully crafted love/hate letter to Hollywood...that 100% includes a monkey funeral. Join Sara Greenfield and her guest Daniel Strauss as they chat about all this and more on Talk Classic To Me.
