We have the captain on board the Sunset Grooves Ship for number 99! Just after he started his wonderful Seaside Trip Podcast, Sunset Grooves launched it's very own podcast. Funky Chap was featured on his podcast and ever since then had given an open invitation for Rolandson to feature on the Sunset Grooves podcast. We don't believe in coincidence, and the fact that he was not able to do one until now, seems to be wonderful timing for him to feature on last podcast before a special 100th podcast for Sunset Grooves. Rolandson, a traveler not a tourist and this traveler of music and sounds began his voyage in the mid 90s and has since explored the depths of 90s Berlin dub & techno, the electro swing revival in Paris/ France and Brighton/ England, downtempo and indigenous sounds from all over the world during his travels and discovering many more musical impulses that have shaped his life along the years. So in this his selections are always a highly curated combination of unique tracks that are timeless and that overcome the boundaries of genre, country, or context.
