SC: @sonic_identity IG: https://www.instagram.com/sonic_identity/ A wonderful dreamy mix by Sonic Identity taking you on a progressive journey full of gems that will make you feel good soaking in the sunshine on a Thursday afternoon. Someone who drifts in between Berlin and Frankfurt will know about collecting dope musical productions. Thank you for the wonderful mix. Interview with Sonic Identity ************************* Good morning Lennard 😊 1. I hope you agree to answer a few random and fun questions to share with our listeners? First of all I want to thank you for giving me the opportunity to be part of your project! It’s a real pleasure to share some thoughts with you  2. To start you off tell us what song puts you in a good mood when you wake up in the morning? Well I guess this depends on the current mood. But there are a few tracks that always make you feel good. One of them is “Only Yesterday” by Pretty Lights. Just can’t get enough! 3. Now should you ever, but let’s hope not, be stuck on an island, which music album would you bring with you and why? Oh that one is hard to answer! I choose Digitalism - “I love you Dude” . It’s packed with super lightly vibes and almoast every song puts a smile on your face. There is absolutely no gravitiy that may pulls you down, a situation I really don’t want to experience in isolation on an island. 4. Moving on to serious issues, what is your favourite cocktail to drink during a sunset? There is nothing like a cold beer! 5. Once the global pandemic is over, which festival would be the one you would go to first and why? (it could be a club, if you got no festival in mind) Due to the known situation I would prefer to support smaller club venues to help them finding a way out of the crisis. I am really looking forward to visit the “”Galerie Kurzweil” in Darmstadt, heard a lot of good things about this place! 6. Which artist/band do you secretly love but you are embarrassed to admit? (i.e. you have been to their concert, you know the lyrics.) Haha so if I love a certain Artist I can’t feel embarrassed! The only shame to have is shame! 7. If you could open a show for any artist, who would it be and why? It’s John 00 Fleming. This guy introduced me to the Progressive House scene which is actually not present in the german club culture. I was looking for something different compared to all the typical Deep- and Tech House sound you can find in almoast every single event. When I listened to his sets for the first times I realized that there is so much more to discover! Somehow it felt like a piece of my musical identity had changed or even grew up. 8. Lastly, regarding this mix you have done for us, can you tell us a little bit of your thought process behind choosing the tracks you chose? The mix was actually not recorded to create a certain club or festival vibe. It’s more about being a companion for all those situations we love so much during the summer time. A smooth background set which hopefully makes the beautiful moments even more beautiful! Thank You! *************************************************** Sunset Location: Frankfurt am Main, Germany
