SC: @errant-official IG: https://www.instagram.com/officialerrant/ Up next we have the Barcelona based duo Errant who have a wicked sense of taste in music! Their different backgrounds has helped establish their own unique sound and they have provided us with a mix full of awesome deep groovy house vibes. Perfect to kick start your weekend! Interview with Errant ******************* Good morning Errant 😊 I hope you agree to answer a few random and fun questions to share with our listeners? No worries, it'd be a pleasure. 1. To start you off tell us what song puts you in a good mood when you wake up in the morning? We don't really have a must listen song for mornings, what we do is we normally wake up and start the day with a nice play list from our favorite artists such as Rufus du sol, black coffee, kerala dust and we are all in a sudden in a very good mood 😊 2. How did your duo come together? What was the key to starting Errant? Errant emerged with the lockdown in Barcelona. Before that, we were just two friends with a deep passion for music, we used to play in our spare time but nothing more than that. Isolation gave us the opportunity to join and combine ideas and the new project started. 3. Now should you ever, but let’s hope not, be stuck on an island, which music album would you bring with you and why? We already had enough from 2020 with being stuck at home so let's hope we won't be stuck on an island for a very long time 😂 anyway what can't be left home during our isolation on the island is without any doubt nevermind from nirvana, Joshua tree from u2, violator from Depeche mode and life after death from notorious big. 4. 2020 has been a difficult year for the music scene, how has it changed within your hometown and what do you think will be different in the future? Future is all about technology, so, from the music industry point of view, that means more live streaming. And that is pretty much what has been happening everywhere around the globe since lockdown started. Barcelona is where we live, and it was no exception. 5. If you could open a show for any artist, who would it be and why? We'd very pleased to open a show for Bedouin or Keinemusik crew as we take much than just inspiration from them. 6. Lastly, regarding this mix you have done for us, can you tell us a little bit of your thought process behind choosing the tracks you chose? We imagined we were hanging out on a nice rooftop, sipping on a fresh drink enjoying the sunset and we wondered what music would have been a great match to the situation, and everything else just fell into place. We wanted to kick off with a rhythmic session leaded by a deep, psychedelic sound (tracks like "white rabbit" or the pink Floyd remix) and then switch to a fresher vibe. We gave a lot of importance to the tempo so that the listeners could be transported to the same location as we thought we were at. Thank you for the wicked mix! *************************** Sunset Location: Barcelona, Spain
