Sunshine and rainbows won’t close the gap in youth mental health care

from The Sheletta Show

September is National Suicide Awareness Month. There are so many people carrying heaviness in their lives, especially young people. Robert Doty is with PROCEED and he joins Sheletta to talk about a new facility opening on the east side of the metro. Robert and Sheletta speak to the unique vulnerabilities and gap in access that minority communities have to mental health care. PROCEED is opening a new facility called The PROCEED Foundation Family Enrichment Center. It’s a ten million dollar facility dedicated to “expanding access to mental health services, youth programming, and essential community resources for individuals and families across Saint Paul.” Come see what they’ve built during their Partnership Reception! Tuesday, September 29 | 4:30–5:30 PM Progressive Baptist Church | 1505 Burns Ave., St. Paul https://proceedmn.org/
