Yahoo Finance Executive Editor Brian Sozzi caught up with Suntory CEO Tak Niinami at the 2025 World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. The pair discussed President Trump's return to office, the inflation impact of Trump's proposed tariffs, and how the Japanese multinational alcohol maker is adapting to changing consumer preferences. Niinami says that Trump's proposed tariffs on China would "definitely" increase inflation in the US. He adds that tariffs on Canada and Mexico are "not a good idea," but that as a global company, "we have to deal with the tariff policies to be given to the world" and "we have to respond quickly to the policies."
