SUPER BOWL HANGOVER: New England Patriots & Seattle Seahawks SET FOR DROPOFF in 2026

The NFL always throws us curveballs and usually there are teams who impressed in one season only for them to regress the next season and  both Super Bowl teams, the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks, are set to drop off a little in 2026. With a much more difficult schedule for the Pats and the loss of Klint Kubiak for the Hawks, neither team will reach the heights we just saw. The Jacksonville Jaguars were one of the big surprises in 2025, but are set for regression in 2026. Although the drop should not look as bad as the Travis Hunter trade looks now with reports he will focus on cornerback full-time going forward. The Philadelphia Eagles needed big change this offseason, but the change they are going to see, offensive coordinator and a potential AJ Brown trade, aren't the right kinds of change to fix their issues. Finally, the Pittsburgh Steelers are set to bring Aaron Rodgers back, but they maxxed out in 2025 with that plan and 2026 will bring less wins.
