Super Easy & Fast Fresh Fruit Crumble (Gluten-Free)

from The 60-Second Food Schmooze · host Connecticut Public Radio

Fresh peaches, plums, pears or apples in the local market can be turned into a delicious quick crumble dessert. You don’t even need a recipe for this one! Set the oven on 325°F while you throw this together. In a bowl, mix sliced fresh fruit  with a couple of tablespoons of your favorite jarred preserves. Scoop that into a buttered pie plate and spread it out evenly. In another bowl, mix together some melted butter and crushed ginger snaps (gluten-free snaps are available) until it looks crumbly. Sprinkle the crumb mixture on top of the sliced fruit in the pie plate and bake it for about 20 minutes. I like to serve it with some vanilla ice cream.
