Sales advanced to $12.22 billion and diluted earnings per share rose to 2.68, with the company raising its full-year adjusted diluted EPS target to a range of 8.45 to 8.60.- Northrop Grumman (NOC) slips about 3%, snapping two sessions of gains, as a lower effective tax rate helped fuel the defense contractor’s second quarter earnings per share, which beat estimates.
