Dr Adrian Saville is the founder and chief executive of South Africa's Cannon Asset Managers, a multi-strategy value investment firm. He is also the Professor Economics, Finance & Strategy at the Gordon Institute of Business Science, University of Pretoria, South Africa. In 1996, Adrian created an investment portfolio called “SuperDogs” to capture what he believed to be the essence of investing: finding good assets--that’s the “super” part--at unloved prices--that’s the “dog” part.
