Superintendent Jeff Wendorf talks about school safety with School Resource Officer Phil Taylor

School Resource Officer (SRO) Phil Taylor graduated in 1985 from North Canton's Hoover High School. He became a police officer in 2000 and has served the City of North Canton for 14 years. He has been an SRO for four years. He is certified as an ALICE instructor and a Crime Prevention Officer. He has undergone training in School Based Threat, Risk, and Vulnerability Assessment, along with numerous other related trainings. Officer Taylor discusses the role of the SRO in keeping the students of the North Canton City School District safe.
