Superman

In this episode of The Moviegoers Society, Sean Tajipour, the Mayor of Nerdtropolis, and Drew Munhausen, the Professional Media and Movie Mastermind, go full spoiler-free on Superman, James Gunn’s bright and bold new launch for the DC Universe. Sean and Drew break down David Corenswet’s debut as the Man of Steel, Rachel Brosnahan’s standout turn as Lois Lane, Nicholas Hoult’s chilling new Lex Luthor, and the instant fan-favorite energy of Krypto the Superdog. They discuss the film’s biggest strengths, its emotional core, the larger world-building at play, and whether this reboot finally gives DC the fresh start it has been searching for. They also get into the movie’s tone, its balance of heart, humor, and heroism, and whether Gunn’s style works for Superman on the big screen. From epic moments to bold creative swings, this episode explores whether Superman truly restores hope for the DCU or ends up feeling like another uneven reboot. 📽 Follow us on Letterboxd: https://letterboxd.com/dmunhausen/ https://letterboxd.com/nerdtropolis/ 📲 Stay connected: https://www.Facebook.com/nerdtropolis https://www.Instagram.com/nerdtropolis https://www.Twitter.com/nerdtropolis https://www.tiktok.com/@nerdtropolis
