“[The third stage of the experience of life] brings us to the starting point of another aspect in the Christian experience, and this serves as a great turning point for a Christian before the Lord….it is at this stage that a Christian begins to walk formally in the way of the cross, having the experience of the cross and walking entirely under the cross. Therefore, from this time on, his spiritual walk enters into a new stage” (Witness Lee, The Experience of Life, Chapter 9. Living Stream Ministry).
