Rabbi Gary Derechinsky and his wife Marilou have been pillars of the Beth Ariel Messianic Congregation in Los Angeles. As a worship leader at Beth Ariel, I have witnessed firsthand the dedication and love they pour into our community. Rabbi Gary, who has lovingly cared for her at home, can no longer manage her needs alone. The demands of her care have become overwhelming, leaving him unable to prepare his messages or lead Beth Ariel as he always has. Most nights, he gets only a couple hours of sleep, making it impossible to continue serving the congregation as he wishes.We are raising funds to help move Marilou into an assisted living or healthcare facility, where she can receive the professional care she needs. All donations will go directly toward facility costs and medical care. For transparency, Rabbi Gary will be the only person able to withdraw funds from this campaign.
