You must sign up on the liveandplay database, but after that booking a firepit is free minus the wood that you have to bring. Keep within the rules of the pandemic protocol and enjoy the outside air. Just go to the city of Calgary website and type in "book fire" and you will see an option to sign in. Or type in "live and play if you feel you need to write more words in the search fields. Then select "Get Permit" and you will be prompted for more information. Stay safe!
