 Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson declined to weigh in on President Donald Trump's recent suggestion that Republicans should nationalize U.S. elections, a proposal that has drawn bipartisan criticism and intensified debate ahead of the 2026 midterms. During an interview with former FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino, Trump said he would like Republicans to "take over" and "nationalize" voting, citing longstanding and unsubstantiated concerns about election fraud.
