This morning, the Supreme Court without comment, declined to consider a petition from Kim Davis, a former county clerk in Kentucky who had refused on religious grounds to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples. Today's decision by the Supreme Court not to hear the case, which is known as Obergefell v. Hodges... keeps the lower-court financial judgments and precedent in place.Robert Bradley Sears is an Associate Dean for Public Interest Programs at UCLA School of Law. He's written on on civil rights, LGBT legal issues and public policy, and has testified before Congress. He spoke with Annenberg's Naaji Joseph.
