Surah Fatir

In this episode, Maulana Syed Abul Ala Maududi explores Surah Fatir, a Makkan chapter that emphasizes Allah’s role as the Creator (Fatir) of the heavens and the earth. The Surah calls people to reflect on the signs of creation, recognize Allah’s mercy, and understand that true success lies in seeking His guidance. It also contrasts the fate of those who embrace faith with those who turn away from it. This episode covers: • Allah as the Creator of everything, from angels to the natural world • The signs of Allah in nature, such as rain, rivers, and mountains of different colors • The deception of worldly life, which distracts people from the Hereafter • The rewards of those who recite and follow the Qur’an • The fate of the disbelievers, who will realize the truth when it is too late Surah Fatir reminds believers to recognize the greatness of Allah and submit to His will. It calls for gratitude, patience, and a constant awareness of the Hereafter as the ultimate goal of life.
