Surgery Recovery: Myomectomy

Warning: we talk in detail about fibroids and the reason for the surgery. Please feel free to pass on this episode!  We talk about my symptoms leading up to the procedure, healthcare barriers, the surgery itself and the recovery so far. Overall, I'm really happy I finally agreed to the procedure. While the recovery has been difficult, I can honestly say it's worth it.  I forgot one thing I wanted to talk about - the accessibility aids I wish I purchased before the procedure (shower chair, handle to get in and out of the car, compression socks).
