"Surrender"

On today's episode of Renew Your Mind we are discussing the word "Surrender" and what it means to us as Christians. Questions/topics for today's episode include: Surrender it “all to Jesus, God, Holy Spirit How does one go about this? All at once? Little at a time? What does it look for different individuals? Giving up our control and handing over to God Remind our listeners that Jesus models how to do this…scriptures? God’s will, not my will (Luke 22:41-43, Matt 26:36-46) I will cease to resist God’s will Does not mean, going to church, doing do good things, God doesn’t want a “religion” he wants a relationship with you, ALL of you. Decision to love Him. We NEED to Love God with all our hearts. Love the Lord your God with ALL and then you will want to do all those “religious things” Today, “ I surrendered all” with all my strength Resolve “how to love god with 1) all my heart (center of my life). The heart is where our “will” resides. Will you let God be the influencer of your decisions? 2) I resolve to say “yes to God with all my soul.” Not easy, why an angel sent to Jesus to help him. My desires, self interest 3) I resolve to love God with all “my mind”.
