Yet in Ramadan, Allah ﷻ prescribes it, and the Ummah responds in obedience. This collective surrender is the miracle of Ramadan: a global act of discipline driven solely by īmān bil-ghayb. Through fasting, believers cultivate taqwa, drawing closer to Allah ﷻ without withdrawing from society.
