Prayer is not one of those things. In one sense prayer is very simple: It is talking to and listening to God. However, without guidance prayer can be whiny, narcissistic, manipulative and self-serving. Jesus understood this, so he gave us guidance for prayer. The church has come to call that guidance "The Lord's Prayer." In this series were take a long, close look at the Lord's Prayer so we can better understand and practice the guidance Jesus gives us.
