We all have a strong human tendency to become like what we are around. Are the people around us hopeful and optimistic? Are they kind and generous? Are they thoughtful and compassionate? Are they bold and courageous? Do they believe in us, encourage us, and honor us? Do they challenge us to reach for better and become our best selves? If the people around us and close are not these things, we need to put some time and distance between ourselves and them as quickly as we can manage it. Next if we ourselves are not these things, we need to be working to become them, starting now.The best way to do that?
