Surviving abuse being homeless for 7 years drugs crime violence and his healing journey- Miguel Dean

from Becoming Parents - Birth Stories and Birthwork Wisdom · host Jennifer Campbell

My mother suffered from anxiety and depression when I was born and when I was 7 months old she died of cancer. I went on to lose two other surrogate mothers before I was 5 years old. My stepmother was violent and abusive and my father was absent as I grew up. This led to me being stuck in fight and flight as I grew up and resulted in low self-esteem. On leaving home I fell into a shadowy world of drugs, crime, violence, and homelessness. But at 27 the arrival of my firstborn son inspired me to begin my inner journey of healing and transformation which I am still on. This journey has included: divorce, severe illness, overcoming addiction and learning to love and accept myself. I realized early on that my service to the collective influenced my own healing and the extent to which I was engaged and successful in my own healing impacted how much I could empower others. I worked with disadvantaged youth for many years before stumbling upon the inner journey of the divine union of masculine and feminine as a vehicle to return home to love and wholeness. Bring Him Home _ A Twin Flame Love Story tells my own true story of how conscious relationship purged and facilitated the further healing of my own childhood trauma and fear of intimacy that I had carried for too long as a result of losing my mother. It is a book to inspire a new (Sacred) masculinity and the truth and potential of a conscious relationship.  https://www.facebook.com/migueldeanauthor/?modal=admin_todo_tour https://www.migueldean.net/ --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/becoming-parents/message
