The Children of God cult started with a prophecy from a mother to her son and quickly evolved into an international phenomenon. David Berg would influence thousands of children and adults to forsake all and follow his direction for decades. David’s idea of religion and love centered around sex, this included not only the adults but the children as well. They would learn at a very young age how to love their fellow “family” by engaging is sexual acts.
