There have been 71 mass shootings in the United States, including the tragic shooting in Lansing Monday on Michigan State University’s main campus. The shooting left three students dead and five others injured, leaving the university, the community, and the state in shock. How can we protect ourselves if a tragedy strikes, and what would we say to our children?
