Susie Chan

from RunPod

This week Jenni sits down with one of the most recognisable faces in the British running community, and someone whose life has changed entirely since she found running 10 years ago. Susie Chan is an absolute inspiration, she never planned to be a runner but since she started, she’s never looked back. Some are happy to run a marathon just once, she runs them regularly! How would you feel about a 12 hour treadmill challenge? Cause Susie broke the world record in 2016, running 68 miles in 12 hours without stopping once. She’s essentially a female (and far more glamorous) Forrest Gump! Together they discuss human endurance, racing in the world’s harshest landscapes and how her life has changed for the better. She also gives us as a peak into the one of most extreme races on the planet – and it’s one Susie has her heart set on. What is it? Listen in to find out.
