Check out all the NAEP has to offer at NAEP.org.Connect with Lauren Staniec athttps://www.linkedin.com/in/laurenstaniecwww.rehabitat-cny.com/Lauren's Full Bio:Lauren Staniec is the Owner of re-habitat, an interior/sustainable design group that also provides project management services.  To date projects have included the historic renovation of the RE Dietz Lantern building, sustainability consulting for Destiny USA and OGS, as well as design and project management work for the Destiny USA Embassy Suites Hotel, The Crossgates Mall Tru + Homewood Suites, Seneca Savings, Town of DeWitt, Indium Corporation, and various additional commercial and residential projects.  Prior to starting her own company, Lauren was the Sustainability Coordinator and Enhancement Project Manager for the Pyramid Management Group (“Pyramid”).  She was responsible for tenant interaction with LEED at Destiny USA the largest LEED Gold Certified retail commercial project in the United States.  Lauren has overseen the implementation of a campus plan at Destiny USA and has directed the lease required tenant LEED program at Destiny USA under which over 60 businesses have become LEED certified.   She also managed $50M of development efforts for existing buildings and new construction across Pyramid’s 18-center portfolio across New York and Massachusetts.  Lauren currently an adjunct interior design professor at both Syracuse University and Onondaga Community College.  She also organizes Green Drinks Syracuse and is a volunteer with On Point for College.  Lauren also sits on the Clean Communities Syracuse board promoting fossil-free transportation within Central New York.  Additionally, Lauren is Past Chair of the US Green Building Council New York Upstate Chapter. Initially, a student of Interior Design at Rochester Institute of Technology, Lauren completed a Bachelor of Fine Art.  Several years later Lauren completed a Master of Science at SUNY Environmental Science and Forestry in Construction Management and Green Building.  Lauren’s focus throughout both programs was in progressive sustainability for the built environment.  Music CreditsIntro: Givin Me Eyes by Grace MesaOutro: Never Ending Soul Groove by Mattijs MullerSupport the showThanks for listening!
