Even as healthcare systems continue to confront their environmental impact, the operating room remains one of the most resource-intensive areas in medicine. Leading the push towards sustainability and mindful practice in the OR is Dr. Kelly Wright. She joins Dr. Christine Foley to discuss how to implement more "green" methods in medicine and how the changing global environment affects the health of our patients. Dr. Wright is the Director of the Division of Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery and an Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
