SWAMP BUCK DOWN! Hunting Public Land Bucks In Southern Swamps

This week on the Southern Ground Hunting Podcast, we're talking about hunting southern bucks in the swamps. Parker was able to tag his 3rd and final Alabama buck of the year in south Alabama, but the cool thing was being able to piece together some consistencies in swamp habitat that led to finding and taking this buck. Southern swamps are a little bit different than what folks might experience in the midwest or northern US. River cane, palmettos, water oaks & big cypress stands are the norm, broken up by pine and cedar breaks. Over the last several years Parker has challenged himself to try to learn this type of habitat and how the deer are using it.
