I am here by MY choice.”  I often hear from people, “They don’t want me to be here.” This is usually in regards to workplace issues and the point is that the person is stressed out because “they” don’t want them to be in the meeting, in the job title, etc. The challenge is that we are where we are by choice. We are not “here” (at work, in our personal relationships, etc.) by accident. We make the decision every single day to be here.
