SWCP Episode 34: New Character Profiles For HIGH REPUBLIC Characters Revealed

from Star Wars Canon Podcast · host Star Wars Canon Podcast

News - Five new characters for the High Republic Era have been revealed Canon Spotlight - "A New Dawn" By John Jackson Miller  Mailbag Questions 1.) Phillip Adkins - Hey brian! I love your podcast. I look forward to each new episode. My question is how much different do you think episode 3 would have been if the clone wars series had come out between films? Hope you and your wife and youngling are safe and may the force be with you! 2.) Daisy Mann - Dear Brian, Hello, my name is Daisy. I listen to your podcast whenever there is a new episode. I understand with having a family and a fulltime job it is difficult to keep up with your podcast, so I look forward to each episode. Keep up the awesome work. I have a question for your show. Since you weren't a fan of the sequel trilogy, what is one thing you would change? And what effect do you think it would have on the rest of the trilogy as a whole? 3.) Sara Dawson - Brian, I love your podcast and the work you put into it. I love the new look as well. Keep doing what you're doing! When do you think we'll get the backstory on Maz having Luke's lightsaber? The last we saw it it was falling out of the bottom of Cloud City and into the planet Bespin. Surely they wouldn't leave that in the air like that. What are your thoughts? 4.) Peter Clayton - Hello Cannon Podcast! Big fan of you and your content. My wife and I were wondering if you could shed some light on why ahsokas lightsabers are green and yellow in clone wars but white in rebels. And as a follow up does the color of the lightsaber still have meaning in cannon like it did in the eu, where certain colors stood for certain kinds of jedi. We love your show. Thanks in advance. 5.) Adam Owens - Brian! How are you and your family? Hopefully everything is well with you and your's. I am anxiously awaiting the release of your mobile app. I know it will be a great tool for not only canon junkies but also for those who are getting into canon for the first time, like myself. I have only ever watched the movies, not any shows or comics or books. In your opinion what is a good stepping off point in canon of getting a better appreciation of the films? I'd love to hear your thoughts. I just found your podcast recently, and we need more fans like you front and center. Adam out!
