As sweating prevents cancer, but that doesn't mean a marathon runner won't get attacked with cancer as he/she discharge a large amount of sweat from the body. The sweating discharge carcinogenic ingredients heavy metal that paves way for getting rid of cancer. But sometimes excessive sweating also turns harmful. So, even the marathon runners get attacked with cancer, inspite of having a strong body. A study published in the Archives of Dermatology, 2006, has pointed out that in the past ten years nearly ten marathon runners have suffered from malignant melanoma. And, the main cause behind this is the ultraviolet irradiation that arises because of the excessive physiological exercises that lowers functioning of our immune system. So, it's highly recommended that while running the runner should pay attention to the UV protection and lower the amount of exercise.
