Swept Away By His Word: An Interview with Alissa DeGroote

Our guest in this episode received a prophetic word that she would start singing, writing music, and playing in a prayer house. Shortly after, she did begin leading a worship set at a prayer house in Des Moines, Iowa. In this place of vulnerability and discovery, Alissa DeGroote learned to worship and love Jesus through writing and singing her own compositions. Alissa takes her experiences with God and translates them into a piano-driven medium which encourages pursuit into the heart of God in the everyday adventures of life. Her sound, bred in both spontaneous prophetic worship and lively corporate worship, has been heard at churches and events across the USA.
