However, Crews made multiple excellent defensive plays in CF, showing that he can hang in there when not swinging the bat well. (17:05) MacKenzie Gore did not continue his Opening Day momentum as he allowed nine hits in just five innings. Gore's 95 pitches resurrected the fact that he has struggled with pitch efficiency in his career. (23:10) The bullpen had a solid day and Brad Lord made yet another appearance.
