Swift Creek | Cloyd's Mountain | Chester Station | Cove Mountain

Fresh off the Battle Of The Wilderness and Spotsylvania Courthouse, we take a break from the main armies of both sides we have two battles from the Bermuda Hundred Campaign and two from the Crook-Averell Raid. First up, the battle of Swift Creek fought on May 9th, 1864 in Chesterfield County, VA where Union Major General Benjamin Butler looks to destroy a local railroad. Also on May 9th, in Pulaski County, VA, we have the battle of Cloyd's Mountain in which Union Birgadier General George Crook destroys a major bridge on the Virginia and Tennessee Railroad used by Confederates to carry troops and supplies. We head back to Benjamin Butler at the battle of Chester Station on May 10th where his army is attacked by Confederate General P.G.T. Beauregard and his army.
