Swimmer dies after being rescued from ocean in Sea Isle City

Down the Shore, a swimmer died in the hospital after being rescued from the ocean off the coast of Sea Isle City. Beach Patrol responded to reports of a man who was drowning around 4 p.m. Friday near 59th Street. First responders were able to bring him to safety alive, but he was later pronounced dead.
