Swinney’s Moment of Truth | LSU Tigers Football News

Brian Kelly blasts Dabo Swinney for dodging accountability after Clemson’s humiliating 51-10 loss to LSU, calling for the coach to “take it on the chin” instead of deflecting blame. Kelly, now a CBS analyst, argues that as head coach, Swinney bears full responsibility for the team’s poor performance — especially after LSU dominated with over 600 yards while Clemson managed just 145. But history shows Swinney’s resilience: after a brutal 2010 season that nearly cost him his job, he rebuilt his staff with key hires in 2011, leading to a championship-winning turnaround. Kelly’s critique may be harsh, but Swinney’s past proves he knows how to recover — without abandoning his core philosophy.
