What does it mean to “pray in the Spirit”? Are we just praying in our spirit rather than out loud? Or are we cooperating in our inner being to pray with the Holy Spirit the prayers He wants us to pray? And how do we know if we are effectively praying in the Spirit? Is this simply a matter of being prompted to pray for a fellow believer? Is “praying in the Spirit” a matter of being given words to share the gospel when we otherwise might be hesitant, even afraid? One of our Elders, Dr. Wayne Baxter, will examine some of these questions and unpack this important practice from Ephesians 6:18-24.
