Sy Welcome's Chante Moore

R&B/Jazz singer Chante Moore discuss new Album, "Moore Is More", R&B Divas, Dating, New Book, Ex Husband Kenny Lattimore and more.. Chante met and befriended El DeBarge and wound up singing backup on on the song "You Know What I Like," on his In the Storm album. Through her friendship with DeBarge, Chante became friends with his manager, who eventually became her manager, as well. About a month after hiring a manager, Chante landed a recording contract with MCA Records and began working on her first album. Her debut, which she titled Precious, was released in 1992 and went on to sell over half a million copies, thanks in part to two singles, "Love's Taken Over" and "It's Alright," which became top five hits on the R&B charts.
