Overall: Cool, showery winter Sunday—pack an umbrella. Traffic Lilyvale: A fallen tree has closed Lady Wakehurst Drive in both directions near McKell Ave. Emergency crews are on site. Avoid the area, use alternate routes, and allow extra time. Trains and Metro (weekend trackwork) Sydney Metro: No services Tallawong–Sydenham. Buses replace Tallawong–Chatswood. Use regular trains from Epping/Chatswood to the City. For North Shore connections, change at Hornsby (not Epping). T4 Illawarra: Buses replace trains between Cronulla/Waterfall and Central (some start/end at Redfern). Central–Bondi Junction running on a changed timetable. T8 Airport & South: Buses replace parts of services between Sydenham and Central. For the Airport with luggage/access needs, change at Central. South Coast line: Buses replace trains between Dapto/Port Kembla and Central. Central Coast: 6:00–11:00, all trains at Cowan and Hawkesbury River use Platform 1. The 10:09 Wyong–Central service departs 10:24. Redfern: Gibbons Street entrance closed until 5 pm for an emergency exercise—use other entrances. Tip: Check your transport app before you go and allow extra time.
