Synaxis of the Saints of North America

On the second Sunday after Pentecost, the Church remembers all the saints who have lived and shone in North America. These saints, known and unknown, show us how to live as Christians and what challenges we may face. From the first Divine Liturgy celebrated in 1741 to the missionary journeys and martyrdoms, the saints of North America come from many backgrounds. They include apostles, martyrs, hierarchs, monastics, and righteous people who helped build the Church here.Support the show
